About Palli Karma-Sahayak Foundation
Palli Karma-Sahayak Foundation (PKSF) is a premier development organization established by the Government of Bangladesh in 1989 to combat poverty and empower communities through employment generation. With a strong commitment to alleviating poverty, PKSF collaborates with over 223 Partner Organizations (POs) to provide vital financial assistance and institutional support aimed at creating sustainable employment opportunities for the ultra-poor, small farmers, and micro-entrepreneurs.
PKSF administers various credit programs, including Buniad, Jagoron, Agrosor, and Sufolon, which facilitate access to loanable funds for development projects. The foundation's approach is both demand-driven and adaptable, evolving with the needs of the communities it serves. In addition to credit programs, PKSF conducts specialized training and capacity-building initiatives for POs, helping them enhance their skills in financial management and sustainable practices.
Furthermore, PKSF addresses social crises through a Special Fund, offering support to vulnerable populations during emergencies. By focusing on innovative solutions and community resilience, PKSF plays a crucial role in fostering inclusive development across Bangladesh.
