Placenta Life is a Coffs Coast service supporting new mothers who wish to use their placenta as part of postnatal recovery. Practitioner Sally is described as the area’s leading placenta practitioner and a NSW representative for Placenta Services Australia. The business specialises in hygienically processing placentas into easy-to-swallow capsules and also offers tinctures, creams, balms and oils.

Placenta Life presents these products as ways to make use of nutrients in the placenta after birth, with the aim of nourishing and supporting mothers and their babies. The website notes that some mothers who have used capsules report benefits such as improved energy, milk supply and emotional wellbeing; these are customer experiences, not guaranteed outcomes. Placenta Life also provides information about benefits, hygiene and safety, and frequently asked questions to help families understand the service.

Bookings are encouraged before birth, allowing arrangements for collection, processing and delivery to be discussed in advance. The service is based around the Coffs Coast and welcomes enquiries by phone or email
