Plane Maintenance

Plane Maintenance Facility (PMF) is an aircraft maintenance and support company based at Lanseria International Airport in South Africa. Since 2000, it has maintained South African-registered aircraft under SACAA Approved Maintenance Organisation (AMO) 875, with a focus on safety, precision and regulatory compliance. The company serves single- and multi-engine aircraft, turbine and diesel aircraft, flight schools and charter operators, and offers maintenance and certification services.

Its engine capabilities include piston, Continental, Lycoming, turbine, Austro and diesel engines. PMF is factory trained and approved for Continental Diesel engines and is an approved service provider for Garrett and Pratt & Whitney engines. Its technical staff receive annual recurrent training, and the company says it uses factory-certified OEM parts.

PMF also provides 24-hour emergency aircraft support and operates a Diamond DA20, Cessna 172P and Cessna 182N to assist with repairs and aircraft recovery, including in remote locations. In addition, PMF is the appointed Diamond Aircraft sales agent for Southern Africa, helping customers select aircraft for private, military, commercial and corporate operations
