Planet Baseball

Planet Baseball provides high school, college, graduate, and professional baseball players with training camps designed to develop their skills in an immersive setting. Its Island Training Camp takes place in Las Terrenas, Dominican Republic, where participants train with Planet Baseball coaches and local Dominican coaches while experiencing the area’s culture and community. The program combines one-on-one instruction, video analysis, simulated games, structured competitions, strength and stability work, stretching and injury-prevention exercises, and speed, agility, and endurance challenges. Training activities make use of the beach and surrounding landscape.

A one-week camp costs $950, with additional days available for an added fee; a deposit is required to reserve a roster spot. Camp inclusions listed include daily lunch, laundry, apparel, a waterfall excursion, a beach hike, and travel health insurance. Planet Baseball also offers player, family, and friend travel packages, with beach apartment accommodations, a private driver, and airport transfers available at a separate price. The organization is led by founder and president Jay Quinn, whose coaching experience spans multiple countries.
