About Planetary Accounting Network
The Planetary Accounting Network is an independent research center dedicated to applied research for a healthy planet. As a not-for-profit organization, we prioritize the belief that living well requires a healthy planet. Our goal is to enable people, businesses, and governments to make decisions that will revitalize and sustain our environment.
At PAN, we focus on Planetary Accounting, a framework for science-based decision making that respects and stays within the Planetary Boundaries. We support various initiatives such as setting corporate Planetary Science-Based Targets (P-SBTs), creating Planetary Facts labels for products and services, and developing future visions and roadmaps for cities and regions to operate within the planet's limits. Additionally, we provide training and education support to grow awareness of the Planetary Boundaries and how tools like Planetary Accounting can help us operate within them.
