Planetrise

Planetrise Cultural and Environmental Association is a nonprofit organization founded in 2003 by a group of young people and based in Kisvárda, Hungary. Its mission is to support sustainable development, preserve cultural diversity and promote healthy lifestyles, helping build more livable and cohesive communities. Working with local organizations and partners across more than 30 countries and five continents, Planetrise delivers environmental, social, cultural, health and community-development programs.

Its activities include ecosystem protection, waste management, climate-change awareness and sustainability education. The association also organizes cultural and community events that encourage dialogue, preserve traditions and reduce prejudice. In community development, it supports local initiatives and addresses food and nutrition security. Health programs, medical missions and public campaigns promote well-being and healthier living.

Planetrise provides volunteering opportunities, sending volunteers to development projects and inviting people to contribute while learning about other cultures. Its educational programs reach more than 10,000 students annually, while its wider campaigns and activities connect with communities around the world.
