Planet Youth ehf. is a company which specializes in providing prevention services to municipalities and organizations around the world, based on the Icelandic prevention model. It builds on it's over 20 years experience in Iceland which managed to drastically turn substance use among youth around with systematic approach by annual surveys done in schools and following activities in the environment of children base on the information and the knowledge of the effects that risk and protective factors have in the life of children. The services of Planet Youth have been introduced in over 30 countries of the world and are being implemented now in five continents.

About Planet Youth
Planet Youth is a brand that focuses on drug prevention among children and adolescents. They offer a range of services and programs aimed at preventing the initiation of drug use. One of the key components of Planet Youth is the Icelandic Prevention Model, which has proven to be highly effective. Through this model, Planet Youth has achieved remarkable success in reducing substance use among 15/16 year old students in Iceland. To support their partners and community teams in implementing the Icelandic Prevention Model, Planet Youth has published a comprehensive guidebook.
This resource is available for download and provides practical guidance for implementing the model in different regions. In addition to their services and resources, Planet Youth organizes events where specialists from around the world come together to discuss prevention work and societal issues.
