Plankenhof Reitschules

Plankenhof Reitschule is a family-run riding school in Kevelaer-Wetten, Germany, where children can discover horses and learn to ride in a welcoming, supervised environment. The school emphasizes that horsemanship involves more than sitting on a horse, introducing young riders to caring for and interacting with horses through movement, play and clear rules. Its team of experienced riding instructors is supported by older children who help younger participants, bringing together riders of different ages and experience levels.

Plankenhof offers beginner courses and riding lessons, with ponies forming an important part of the children’s experience. Families can also arrange children’s birthday celebrations at the farm; the school offers different options and organizes the event. Seasonal activities, including pony experiences and a Christmas-themed event, are promoted through downloadable registration forms. The school welcomes enquiries by telephone or email and asks visitors to change footwear and outer clothing, and to wash and disinfect their hands if they have recently visited another stable.
