Plankenkoorts was founded in 1981 as one of the first windsurfing associations in the Netherlands. The association is nowadays the biggest student windsurfing association in the Netherlands, with a storage facility in Delft, windsurf lesson centre in Leiden, multiple windsurf busses, drinks, party's, camps and competitions!

S. W. V.
Plankenkoorts is the largest windsurfing association in the Netherlands, catering to both beginners and experienced surfers. With the aim of providing affordable windsurfing and wave surfing opportunities, S. W.
V. Plankenkoorts offers a range of services and facilities. They have three buses and a storage facility for members to easily transport and store their equipment.
Additionally, they have a dedicated windsurfing center. Beginners can benefit from the eight available beginner-friendly surfboards in Delft. The association also organizes exciting surf events and parties, creating a vibrant and inclusive community.
And after an epic day on the waves, members can unwind with a drink at the Kurk on Thursday evenings. Join S. W.
