FC Humane Society, also known as the Franklin County Humane Society, is a reputable brand that is dedicated to promoting the well-being of animals. Founded in 1977 in Rocky Mount, Virginia, their mission is to create a community where all dogs and cats have the opportunity for a healthy and happy life in a loving home. They achieve this by advocating for rescue, adoption, and spay/neuter programs.

The Franklin County Humane Society operates an Adoption Center, where they provide care for over 2,000 animals in need each year. Their Live Release Rate, which measures successful outcomes, has consistently been impressive, ranging from 96% to 98% in recent years. In addition to their Adoption Center, FC Humane Society also runs the Planned Pethood Clinic.

This low-cost spay/neuter clinic was established in 2000 to combat pet overpopulation and prevent the unnecessary euthanasia of healthy animals. Their affordable services are made possible through generous donations. To further support their cause, FC Humane Society operates the Purrfect Treasures fundraising store, located next to the Adoption Center.

All proceeds from the store directly contribute to caring for the animals in their care. Considering their commitment to animal welfare and their track record of success, supporting FC Humane Society through donations, volunteering, or adopting a pet can genuinely make a difference in the lives of countless animals
