e-on Software is a pioneering technology company renowned for its innovative solutions in the media and entertainment industry, having served this sector for over 27 years. After its acquisition by Bentley Systems in 2015, e-on Software's technologies have been merged with Bentley's extensive suite of infrastructure-focused products, strengthening their offering to engineers and professionals involved in sustainable construction and design.
The company's flagship products include VUE, PlantFactory, and PlantCatalog, which have been instrumental in creating stunning 3D environments and realistic plant modeling. Recently, e-on Software transitioned to offering free perpetual access to these applications, allowing users to download and utilize these powerful tools without the usual cost, albeit with limited support.
While e-on Software has ceased further development on these products, they continue to provide invaluable resources and a platform for professionals seeking to enhance their creative projects. Users can leverage the comprehensive capabilities of VUE and PlantFactory while embracing the opportunity to explore the PlantCatalog’s robust asset library for commercial use.
