About Plantflix
Plantflix, based in San Diego, is a brand that offers a wide range of gardening products and services. Alina and Jeff Smith, the passionate entrepreneurs behind Plantflix, run this mom-and-pop seed shop from their home. They source their seeds from credible growers throughout North America and vet them in their own garden, ensuring they sell only the best quality seeds.
It all started when Alina began her @plantflix Instagram account in 2019 to share her interests and hobbies outside of her startup lifestyle. After encountering seed scams, she decided to find viable seed sources. Soon, the shop took off on Etsy, and Jeff came on board to assist with customer service.
Plantflix takes pride in their packaging, designing and printing everything themselves. They prioritize sustainability by recycling as many materials as possible. Their seed kits are carefully crafted and include responsibly grown seeds that are batch-tested for high germination rates.
With a focus on strategy, design, marketing, and seed sourcing, Alina manages the brand's operations, while Jeff spearheads customer service and order fulfillment. Together, they offer a personalized and reliable experience for all plant enthusiasts
