The Government of Santiago, through the Plataforma Industria Circular (Circular Industry Platform), is dedicated to fostering collaboration and synergy among companies in the Renca region. The platform strives to promote a circular economy by connecting industrial sectors that generate waste with companies capable of extracting value from that waste and keeping it circulating within the economy. This initiative, in partnership with the University of Valparaíso and funded by the Regional Competitiveness Innovation Fund, aims to reduce industrial waste in the Metropolitan Region and create a cleaner and more sustainable environment.

Recently, a successful workshop was held at La Fábrica de Renca, where the participating companies learned about the benefits of industrial symbiosis and explored potential synergies. The workshop was followed by a networking session, which generated excitement among attendees and led to promising business connections.
