Plataforma de Inversión de Impacto Centroamericana (PiiC) is a brand committed to driving impact investment in Central American countries. They aim to create a more comprehensive, inclusive, robust, and innovative investment sector that attracts opportunities to the region. PiiC focuses on four key areas of work.
Firstly, they seek to position and strengthen knowledge about impact investment in the region by raising awareness among key stakeholders in the ecosystem. Secondly, they actively and strategically promote impact investments, both regionally and internationally, in Central America. Additionally, PiiC supports the development of impact-driven enterprises and businesses at a regional level.
Lastly, they aim to change the performance standards of local and regional development banking. Impact investment is the cornerstone of their efforts, helping to finance solutions to major societal challenges like affordable housing, sustainable agriculture, and renewable energy.
