Platt Vineyard is a premier wine producer located in the picturesque Freestone-Occidental area of California, renowned for its exceptional terroir ideal for cultivating high-quality Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. Established in 2003 by visionary Lew Platt, the vineyard has a rich history of supplying grapes to some of California's top vintners. In 2022, the vineyard was acquired, marking the beginning of a new chapter as the estate will vinify its production under its own name starting in 2023.
This transition allows Platt Vineyard to showcase the vibrant complexity and unique characteristics of its wines. The first official release of their 2023 vintage is anticipated in the fall of 2025, and it will cater to both professionals and a select group of private customers.
