Play 4 Bay

Play 4 Bay Foundation is a community nonprofit created in memory of Baylon Michael Meyer, known as “Bay,” who died at age 10. The foundation honors his generosity and lasting impact by supporting students and charitable causes in the Pueblo, Colorado area. Its primary program provides scholarships to graduating seniors in Pueblo School District 70.

Funded by sponsor and private donations, as well as an annual memorial event, the program awards four scholarships: two to boys and two to girls. Applicants submit an essay, recommendations, academic transcripts, and information about their goals and community involvement; eligibility includes a minimum 3. 0 GPA.

The foundation also organizes the Baylon Michael Meyer Memorial Run/Walk, offering 5K and 10K running and walking events, along with a virtual option. Proceeds benefit the scholarships, while the organization aims to expand its support for people in need, child athletes, and other charitable efforts. Play 4 Bay welcomes community participation, donations, and sponsorships to help sustain its programs and preserve Bay’s memory through service and local involvement
