PLAY Childcare + Kinder is a family-owned and operated early learning and kindergarten centre in Bayswater, Melbourne. Located atop Mountain High Shopping Centre, it offers a nature-based, open-air setting where children can explore, learn, play and grow. The centre welcomes children from six weeks to six years and is open from 7am to 6pm throughout the year.

Its two-level facility includes purpose-built nursery spaces for babies and a rooftop outdoor area for older children. Programs are organised around nursery, toddler and kindergarten rooms, with experiences designed to support children’s physical and cognitive development, creativity, curiosity and independence. In kindergarten, meaningful play helps prepare children for school, while educators work with families to support a confident transition to primary school.

PLAY’s approach is guided by values of playfulness, generosity, authenticity and simplicity. The centre aims to create a warm, nurturing environment, celebrate and support families, communicate clearly, and continually invest in its team, facilities and programming. It also provides nappies, wipes, bedding and meals for children in the nursery.
