PLAYE

PLAYE is a volunteer-led 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to supporting young tennis athletes, particularly those from underprivileged communities. Its name represents Persevere, Lead, Accomplish, Youth, Excel, reflecting a mission to help children grow both on and off the court through tennis, mentorship, and opportunities for personal development. PLAYE creates a fun, safe path for junior players to compete, from grassroots activities to amateur-level events, including USTA junior tournaments for ages 12–18 and 10U green-ball events.

The organization also supports youth programs and communities through tournament proceeds, donations, sponsorships, and fundraising. Its community initiatives include grants and collaborations with charitable organizations, individuals, and local and international communities in need. PLAYE’s second-chance program redistributes donated tennis equipment and clothing, while tournament-used balls can be purchased to support its give-back efforts. The PLAYE Store offers custom-designed tennis apparel and accessories, with proceeds directed to community initiatives. Supporters can donate, sponsor programs, nominate people or causes for assistance, or join the PLAYE community through free honorary membership or an annual membership option.
