Players Swim

Players Swim Club is a swimming club based in Menlo Park, Pretoria, and operates in association with Hoërskool Menlopark, using the school’s pool. The club welcomes swimmers into a supportive, close-knit community and aims to help them develop through innovative, efficient swimming techniques suited to their individual needs. Its approach considers the mental, spiritual and physical aspects of swimming, supporting swimmers both in and out of the pool.

Players offers learn-to-swim, competitive swimming, ladies’ swimming and masters swimming. The 50-metre Olympic-distance pool supports endurance training and uninterrupted work on stroke technique. Four pool heaters run throughout the year, helping keep the facility available during colder months. Swimmers can also use wedged starting blocks for powerful starts, along with gym equipment and land-training support from an in-house biokineticist.
