Playful Connections

Playful Connections is an Adelaide Hills speech pathology practice supporting children aged 0–6, their families, caregivers and educators. Led by a paediatric speech pathologist and neurodiversity consultant, the practice helps people navigate communication and developmental differences through a neurodiversity-affirming, evidence-based and compassionate approach. Services are available locally in the Adelaide Hills and remotely to the Riverland.

For young children, Playful Connections offers one-on-one speech therapy. Parents and caregivers can access individual consultations and group programs to better understand a child’s communication needs, language development, behaviours, feeding and mealtime differences, and Autistic or ADHD parenting challenges. Support is designed to help families build practical skills and confidence.

Educators can take part in workshops and professional development focused on supporting neurodivergent children and incorporating communication goals into learning programs. The practice emphasizes collaboration, capacity building and respect for each family’s circumstances, drawing on both professional expertise and lived experience. Fees are presented transparently, with rebates available through NDIS, Medicare and private health insurance.
