Idle Forge is a free-to-play browser game that combines incremental progression, blacksmithing and role-playing. Players forge weapons and equipment, improve their workshop, and develop a character through talents, pets and collectible gear. The forge, village buildings, fishing hooks and other systems continue producing resources while players are offline, making it possible to progress at their own pace. There is no download or paid currency, and the game works on desktop and mobile, with an optional PWA experience.

Its crafting systems let players fuse duplicate items, combine and cut gems, reforge attributes, and set rules for automatically selling unwanted gear. Players can hatch, train and evolve pets, send them on expeditions, and assign them as village apprentices.
