Playle's is a renowned brand in the world of postcards and collectibles. Established by Ron Playle in the 1960s, the brand has a rich history spanning over six decades. Ron, a passionate collector himself, started by acquiring every postcard he could find.

Eventually, his interest focused on vintage postcards of Des Moines, Iowa State Fair, Camp Dodge, and Fort Des Moines. In the early 1980s, Ron decided to share his collection with the world, and thus began selling postcards through mail auctions. With the advent of the internet, Ron and his son David took a pioneering step by designing an online auction site in 1997, making Playle's the first to host postcard auctions on the internet.

Today, Playle's Online Auctions remains a leading platform with over 100,000 lots from all over the world. The website offers a user-friendly experience, providing bidders and buyers with various options and a convenient notification system for new listings. In addition to postcards, Playle's also offers postage stamps.

Ron Playle was an esteemed dealer, classified as a full-time postcard dealer by the American Philatelic Society. The brand continues to uphold Ron's legacy and provide collectors with exceptional service. For any inquiries or support, Playle's can be reached via email at david@playle.
