OWdle is an unofficial fan-made daily guessing game created by Yush for Overwatch players and fans. It challenges visitors to identify Overwatch characters through varied clues, offering a playful way to test their knowledge and learn more about the heroes. A new daily puzzle is released at 2:15 a.m. Pacific Time, and an archive lets players revisit puzzles from previous days.
The game includes several modes. In Classic, players use eight attribute tiles, with colors indicating how close each guess is. Sound mode reveals more of an ability sound after each incorrect guess, while Quote asks players to identify two characters speaking before a match. Spotlight gradually zooms out from cropped skin art, and Ability uncovers a hidden ability icon tile by tile. A bonus Melee mode offers three tries to identify a character from one swing. A map-guessing mode is listed as coming soon.
OWdle is supported by optional Ko-fi contributions and also points players to related daily quiz games for Deadlock and Wuthering Waves.
