Welcome to PLAY, a brand that focuses on powerful learning through play-based training. We are committed to training and developing Early Childhood Development practitioners, Grade R & Foundation Phase educators, and other professionals working with babies and young children in South Africa. Our FREE in-service training course, known as PLAY, complements existing educational training and qualifies participants for 15 CPD credits.

With PLAY, you have the flexibility to complete the training at your own pace, dedicating only 2 hours a week. Our platform offers a variety of course options, including videos, images, reading materials, tasks, evaluation, and reflection activities. After each completed session, participants receive email updates and resources with more PLAY ideas. Upon completing the training course, you will receive a certificate with credits.

PLAY is a partnership between the Department of Basic Education, UNICEF, Cotlands, and the LEGO Foundation. The Department of Basic Education aims to improve early childhood development, while Cotlands and the LEGO Foundation are dedicated to addressing the education and social crisis.
