Play Vinyl

PlayVinyl London is an independent specialist focused on helping customers experience the warmth and detail of analogue sound. Guided by each customer’s listening needs and budget, the team offers fully restored and custom-built record players, amplifiers and speakers, alongside a changing selection of unusual, usable audiophile equipment and original vinyl records. Customers can purchase records or bring a favourite album to hear it played on the shop’s equipment and compare the sound for themselves.

Drawing on a shared 20-year journey with vinyl, PlayVinyl aims to reproduce recordings in a way that reflects the work of artists and sound engineers, and encourages listeners to explore the sensory appeal of original studio vinyl. Its approach is knowledge-led and centred on seeing and hearing equipment before deciding what represents value. The brand also shares updates through its blog and PlayVinyl Live, and is developing a merchandise range for supporters. Based in London, PlayVinyl welcomes visitors at its shop and studio, with core opening times on Saturdays and Sundays and appointments available.
