Hotel Plaza Athénée Nobu New York is a planned luxury hotel bringing together the heritage of Plaza Athénée and Nobu’s contemporary approach to hospitality. Set in an iconic, nearly century-old building on Manhattan’s Upper East Side, it will be close to Central Park, museums, consulates, and distinguished shopping. The project is being developed by AWC, which will oversee its concept and design.

The hotel is planned to feature 139 rooms and suites, combining European classical architecture with Nobu’s understated simplicity and contemporary Japanese influences. Upper-floor signature suites are expected to include glass-enclosed indoor and outdoor terraces. Dining will be a central part of the experience, with an intimate Nobu omakase concept, an all-day restaurant, and a bar and lounge intended as a gathering place for both guests and New Yorkers. A spa and salon will round out the planned amenities. The property represents Nobu’s first hotel in New York and extends the brand’s luxury lifestyle offering into one of the city’s most established neighborhoods.
