Plimsoll provides sending infrastructure for organizations running email campaigns, with a focus on controlled sending volume and careful handling of recipient replies. Each sending domain has a published daily ceiling and follows the same 21-day ramp; customers cannot pay to raise the limit. The platform provisions domains and mailboxes, configures and checks DNS and authentication records, and can connect to an existing sequencing tool through SMTP and IMAP.
Plimsoll reads reply history and classifies incoming messages. Header rules identify bounces and automatic responses, while a model reviews free-text replies and provides a category, confidence score, and supporting sentence. When a reply may be a complaint or the model is uncertain, the ramp pauses until a reviewer checks it. Removal requests permanently suppress the address across domains.
The service costs $90 per domain per month, with the first domain free through its ramp. Mailboxes, setup, reply-history backfill, reporting, and reviewer time are included. Plimsoll does not provide a sequencer, prospect data, unlimited sending, or guaranteed inbox placement.
