Plainland Kindergarten & Child Care is a family-owned and operated early childhood education and care provider serving families across Plainland, Lowood and Raceview, Queensland. Its centres offer kindergarten and childcare, alongside outside school hours care through Somerset Kids OSHC and Raceview Kids OSHC. The organisation is open 52 weeks a year and aims to provide a loving, nurturing environment where children can learn and grow.

Its play-based curriculum is guided by the Early Years Learning Framework and shaped by children’s interests, ideas and curiosity. Educators create meaningful learning experiences through exploration, creativity, hands-on discovery and connection with nature and the outdoors. The program supports children’s wellbeing and development while encouraging kindness, connection, courage and a lifelong love of learning.

Plainland Kindergarten & Child Care values partnerships with families and the wider community, cultural inclusion and respect, and everyday sustainability. Families can follow children’s learning through the OWNA digital communication platform, which shares updates, learning stories and developmental progress. The organisation also offers tours and enquiry options for prospective families.
