Ploutvička

Ploutvička is a swimming school in Beroun, Czech Republic, with more than 24 years of experience helping children develop confidence and enjoyment in the water. Its instructors support families from pregnancy through children’s early years, offering swimming courses for babies, toddlers and preschoolers up to age seven, with places for beginners and more advanced young swimmers. The team also works with adults and children who feel nervous in the water, using positive encouragement to help them overcome their fears.

Ploutvička’s approach combines patient, respectful instruction with games and activities tailored to each child’s needs and natural development. The aim is not only to teach swimming skills, but also to foster cooperation between parents and children and build a positive relationship with water from an early age. Courses are offered in seasonal sessions, with information available about fees and a make-up system for missed lessons. Families can also enjoy a friendly, welcoming environment that includes reception, a café and a playroom.
