Plugis

Plugis develops machine-to-machine (M2M) interoperability solutions that help connected devices and systems communicate across different protocols. As the number of technologies used in connected environments grows, equipment can effectively speak different languages, making complex architectures difficult to coordinate. Plugis positions its solutions as a link between these technologies, enabling them to work together in a more coherent system.

The protocols and interfaces referenced by Plugis span building and industrial networks, wireless communications, and computer systems. Examples include ZigBee, Z-Wave, KNX, Modbus, BACnet, RFID, NFC, Ethernet, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, USB, and RS232. Its M2M applications include smart buildings, where field buses, radio-frequency technologies, mesh networks, and IT networks can be brought together; production lines, where process-wide visibility, data recording, and traceability are priorities; and energy optimization, where local and remote sites can be monitored to support measurement, anticipation, and control.

Plugis serves organizations seeking to combine technologies, improve system interoperability, and support more coordinated operations without sacrificing user comfort or environmental considerations.
