Plumeria Alpaca Ranch

Plumeria Alpaca Ranch is a family-focused alpaca farm in Glencoe, Minnesota, in McLeod County west of Minneapolis. The ranch raises a carefully selected herd of Huacaya alpacas, emphasizing dense, fine, full-coverage fleece, friendly temperaments, and distinctive patterns such as pintos, Appaloosas, and Harlequins. Its alpacas are registered with Alpaca Registry, Inc., and the ranch is a member of the Alpaca Owners Association.

Visitors can book an approximately one-hour farm tour and interpretive trail walk to meet the herd, learn about alpaca fiber, take photos, and walk a couple of alpacas through the farm’s wooded and wetland trail. The ranch also sells alpacas and offers a range of fiber products through its farm store and online shop. These include yarn, scarves, hats, mittens, socks, blankets, and alpaca-fur toys. Many items are handwoven, knitted, or crocheted in Minnesota using fleece from the ranch’s own animals.
