PMG Notes

Paper Money Guaranty® (PMG®), established in 2005, is the world’s largest independent third-party paper money grading service. Headquartered with a team of expert graders, PMG guarantees the accuracy, consistency, and impartiality of its evaluations by strictly prohibiting graders from engaging in buying or selling currency. Over 10 million banknotes have been certified, providing both buyers and sellers with confidence that their notes are genuine and properly graded.

PMG employs an internationally recognized grading scale from 1 to 70, a standard set forth by renowned numismatist Dr. William Sheldon in 1948. In addition to grading, PMG offers high-quality protective holders that safeguard notes from environmental damage while being equipped with advanced anti-counterfeiting features. As the official grading service for recognized organizations like the American Numismatic Association and the Professional Numismatists Guild, PMG serves collectors and dealers globally. The brand also provides valuable resources such as price guides and statistical reports, helping enthusiasts navigate the world of paper money collecting with ease and confidence.
