PNM is an energy provider serving New Mexico, with a history of powering the state since 1917. The company offers information and programs to help residents and businesses understand electric vehicles and make charging more affordable. For home EV owners, PNM provides a Whole Home Electric Vehicle rate designed to reduce charging costs, as well as rebates for Level 2 chargers.
Its EV resources explain potential benefits such as lower fueling and maintenance costs, convenient at-home charging, and reduced environmental impact when vehicles are powered by electricity from lower-emissions sources on the PNM grid. PNM also supports drivers through its EV Community, which shares updates about programs, rebates, and discounts. For businesses, the company provides separate electric vehicle information and resources.
In partnership with the National Energy Foundation, PNM runs the rEV Program for Students, offering high school students an educational experience focused on electric vehicles and their benefits. Through these services and initiatives, PNM helps customers explore EV ownership, charging options, and related energy programs
