Pocket Calculator Show is a brand that aims to provide and share memories and information on popular consumer electronics from the '70s and '80s, lovingly referred to as the Golden Age of electronics. Originally starting as a radio show called Pocket Calculator on shortwave station WBCQ in 2001, the brand has now transitioned into a website. The radio show entertained a wide audience across the east coast of Canada, the United States, and the Caribbean, discussing classic electronic goodies like radios, video games, digital watches, and various consumer electronics.

The brand's name, Pocket Calculator, perfectly encapsulates the significance of these historically revolutionary devices, often overlooked but instrumental in ushering in a new age of technology. The hosts, Jay and Paul, are both Connecticut natives who share a passion for vintage electronics. While both are avid collectors, Paul focuses on video games and boomboxes, while Jay enjoys calculator watches and multi-band radios from the '70s and '80s.

For those interested in the world of vintage electronics, Pocket Calculator Show offers a treasure trove of information, including background information, production years, and specifications. They also have an assortment of cool electronic items available for sale on their website or eBay under the username pocketcalculatorshow. Additionally, the hosts can be found sharing their knowledge and experiences on the stereo2go.
