Poetzl Taekwondo

Pötzl Taekwondo offers instruction in the Korean martial art of Taekwon-Do, combining fitness, self-defense and personal development. Led by Josef Pötzl, the school provides weekly, in-person classes in Traunstein, Bad Reichenhall, Teisendorf and Waging am See. Programs welcome children, teenagers and adults, with age-specific options including Lionhearts Minis for ages 4–6, Lionhearts Kids for ages 7–10, Taekwon-Do Teens for ages 11–14, and classes for older teens and adults.

Training develops endurance, speed, strength, coordination and self-defense skills, while supporting confidence, focus and physical and mental well-being. The Lionhearts children’s program draws on more than twelve years of experience and combines movement and martial arts with learning, enjoyment and values intended to support children at home and at school. Classes are led by experienced instructors in a friendly, community-oriented setting. The school also provides online learning resources, including material on forms, basic techniques, blocks and combinations, as well as livestreams and coaching. Prospective students can arrange a trial lesson or join an introductory course.
