Pohjolan Autokuljetus

Pohjolan Autokuljetus Oy is a locally operated taxi and accessible transport company based in Rovaniemi, Finland. Led by entrepreneurs Heli and Jukka Mäntylä, it serves the Rovaniemi area and, by advance arrangement, destinations across Lapland and beyond. The company operates two spacious vehicles introduced in 2024, each seating up to eight passengers plus the driver. Both are equipped with a two-pillar wheelchair lift and can accommodate wheelchair users or a passenger travelling on a stretcher.

Services include ordinary passenger journeys, accessible wheelchair transport, stretcher transfers, airport rides, errands, business and group transport, and trips to events or excursions, including northern lights outings. Drivers have specialist training for serving passengers with additional needs and speak Finnish and English. Assistance with boarding or escorting passengers indoors is available when needed, and vehicles can carry larger luggage.

Customers can book in advance at no extra charge or call the company’s switchboard at any time, including weekends and holidays. Direct vehicle numbers also support WhatsApp, and service is tailored to passengers’ schedules and requirements.
