Timing Ljubljana is the organizer of the renowned "Pot ob žici" event, an expansive sporting and recreational celebration taking place annually in Ljubljana. Scheduled for May 8-10, 2025, this event is designed for participants of all ages, promoting a healthy lifestyle and community togetherness. Its multi-day program includes various walking and running activities tailored for kindergarteners, elementary and secondary school students, as well as adults.

The highlight, the "Pot ob žici" walk, follows the historic path encircling Ljubljana, tracing the route of the barbed wire that once marked the city's wartime boundaries. Participants can choose from shorter recreational walks to longer 34 km treks, earning commemorative medals upon completion. Additionally, the event features team-based running competitions for various categories, fostering camaraderie among participants. With over 37,000 attendees last year, Timing Ljubljana continuously emphasizes user satisfaction and community engagement, making these events a beloved part of the city's cultural fabric.
