About Polar Limitada
Founded in 2013, POLAR is a prominent brand operating in the transport, fleet, and freight sector in northern Mozambique. With headquarters in Nampula and additional facilities in Pemba, Beira, and Maputo, we provide reliable services to customers nationwide. As one of the leading freight transport companies in the region, Polar Lda specializes in transport equipment and rental sectors.
Our initial fleet comprised 20 trucks and 19 pieces of equipment such as cranes, telehandlers, levellers, and bulldozers. Following the completion of the Nacala-Porto and Tete railroad line projects, we decided to focus solely on transportation. To meet market demands, we continuously expand and upgrade our fleet.
Over the years, we have added specialized weldecks, trucks for beverages, Interlink trailers, flatbeds, stepdecks, and tippers. With a dedicated team of over 85 skilled professionals and a fleet of more than 60 trucks and 80 trailers, Polar has achieved steady and sustainable growth.
