Polémia Intézet is a Hungarian civic organization established in 2018 to make public affairs easier to understand and encourage thoughtful discussion of political and social issues. Its members include researchers, journalists, political analysts, advisers and professionals from fields such as law, sociology and psychology. The institute promotes political and social sciences through research, educational materials and accessible public communication, with a particular focus on engaging young people and people who have limited contact with politics.

Its content includes the Kultikus and BRÉKING podcasts, video series, blog posts and themed articles that explore public life, culture and social-science questions in clear language. Polémia also organizes interactive games, workshops, lectures and events, often using popular culture to open up political topics. It collaborates with other organizations and participates in programs at the Bánkitó Festival. In 2023, it organized the Kritika és Felelősség (Criticism and Responsibility) summer university to foster young people’s interest in public affairs. The institute also supports members’ research and academic work.
