About Policy Center for Roma and Minorities
The Policy Center for Roma and Minorities, based in Bucharest, is a non-governmental, non-profit organization founded in 2008 in Romania. Our mission is to address the social inclusion issues faced by ethnic minorities, particularly the Roma community, and work towards a world where these problems no longer hinder progress. We believe in the inherent goodness of people and understand that the solutions to any problem lie in the open-mindedness of communities.
With this in mind, we are ready and eager to assist through sustainable educational programs that combat prejudice and negative attitudes. Our achievements speak for themselves: we have provided equal educational opportunities to 600 children, supported by 200 dedicated volunteers. We take pride in our partnerships, boasting 45 esteemed collaborators.
