The American Political Science Association (APSA) is a professional organization serving the political science community, with a focus on advancing research, teaching, and public understanding of politics. Its website brings together news, scholarly publications, professional development, and resources for educators, researchers, students, and other members of the discipline. APSA publishes and connects readers to journals including the American Political Science Review, Perspectives on Politics, PS: Political Science & Politics, the Journal of Political Science Education, and Political Science Today.

It supports scholarship through awards, grants, fellowships, and programs such as the Ralph Bunche Summer Institute and the Fund for Latino Scholarship. Members and visitors can find career information, scholar profiles, obituaries, oral histories, and initiatives promoting diversity and inclusion. APSA organizes its Annual Meeting and Teaching & Learning Conference, and offers webinars, workshops, and teaching resources.

Through its Public Scholars program, the association helps communicate political science research to broader audiences. Its news and public statements cover developments across the profession and the association’s activities
