Facultatea de Științe Politice (FSP) is one of the largest political science faculties in Romania and the largest in Bucharest. It offers specialized training in the fields of Political Science, International Relations, Sociology, and Psychology. The programs provided by the faculty cover both undergraduate and graduate studies, including master's and doctoral programs.

With its research activities, FSP aims to develop the disciplines of political science, sociology, and psychology, as well as the democratic and civic values of Romanian society. The faculty has developed a solid expertise in areas such as political theory, comparative politics, international relations, European studies, public policies, Eastern European politics, democracy and minority studies, political sociology, electoral sociology, organizational psychology, and work psychology. The faculty's academic staff has extensive research experience in subjects such as electoral systems, parties and party systems, social inequalities, labor and industrial relations, gender equality, political theory and philosophy, consumption and housing, minorities, and European Union development.

All the undergraduate programs in Political Science, International Relations, Sociology, and Psychology are accredited by ARACIS (the Romanian Agency for Quality Assurance in Higher Education). Additionally, all master's and doctoral programs organized by the Faculty of Political Science are also accredited by ARACIS. The Faculty of Political Science consists of two departments, the Department of Political Science and European Studies, and the Department of Sociology, which organize teaching and research activities.

The academic staff of the faculty has multidisciplinary training, ensuring high-quality support for the fundamental studies of political science, sociology, and psychology, as well as specialized ones. The continuous development of master's programs is vital for the Faculty of Political Science, which currently offers 12 master's programs in Romanian and one in English. The Faculty of Political Science - SNSPA also offers quality doctoral education (in political science and sociology) primarily to those who want to deepen their knowledge in these fields of study or pursue an academic and research career.

Graduates of our faculty are highly regarded for their solid theoretical and empirical training, as well as their professional and social skills. They work both in Romania and abroad in governmental institutions, international organizations, NGOs, private companies, research institutes, embassies, as well as other institutions in Bucharest or in local (municipalities, local councils, county councils) or central administration (government, parliament, presidency).
