The Political Academy, organized by the Institute for Political and Economic Education (IPEV), aims to address the democratic backslide that Slovakia has been experiencing in recent years. Recognizing the need to enhance the expertise and competency of politicians, this expert educational program is designed to equip promising and ambitious politicians with the necessary skills.
Unlike other European countries, Slovakia lacks continuous education and analytical support for MPs from political parties. The Political Academy fills this gap by offering a unique program that focuses on enforcing expertise, problem-solving, and rational thinking. It also aims to create a network of young and active politicians and foster the growth of potential future leaders.
The program is non-partisan and non-ideological, providing politicians with the skills needed for policymaking without any party affiliation. With a focus on communication, data analysis, and qualified decision-making, the Political Academy offers a professional education program for politicians and policymakers.
Supported by former Slovak Republic president Andrej Kiska, the Political Academy is dedicated to enhancing the competency and expertise of politicians from all parts of the political spectrum.
