Pollenpaali Oy is a family-run agricultural business based in Mellilä, in the Loimaa region of Southwest Finland. The farm has focused professionally on hay production since the late 1990s, growing most of its own feed on its 111-hectare property and additional rented land. Its products include cold-air-dried hay, pre-dried silage hay, straw and horse feed oats.
Hay is available in small or large square bales, while straw is offered in several bale formats, chopped or unchopped. Each silage-hay batch is analysed, and the company’s feeds are tested for nutritional value and suited to horses. The farm uses energy from its own solar power plant to dry hay and aims to work with consideration for energy use and the environment.
Pollenpaali also sells firewood and provides agricultural contracting services, including baling, sowing, direct drilling, soil cultivation and lime spreading. Products are weighed on site, and the company delivers many orders using its own vehicles. It belongs to the South Finland Quality Hay Network
