About Pollux
Pollux is a specialized information service for political science researchers, offering a wide range of products and services. With the aim of providing researchers with easy access to specialized literature and relevant information, Pollux is dedicated to meeting the needs and interests of the political science community. Serving as the central literature and research portal for political science in Germany, Pollux offers access to over 9 million references to political science publications.
These titles are available either electronically or with reference to the owning library. Additionally, political science researchers have free access to Factiva, a newspaper archive, as well as Polit-X, a monitoring and analysis service. Furthermore, Pollux supports and promotes open access publishing and research data management in political science.
Since 2016, Pollux has been funded by the German Research Foundation (DFG) and is jointly managed by the State and University Library Bremen, GESIS - Leibniz Institute for Social Sciences, and the Qualiservice Research Data Center. With a dedicated team, including project leaders and coordinators, Pollux is committed to providing an invaluable resource for political science researchers
