Portugal "O" Meeting

Portugal “O” Meeting 2027 is a major orienteering event in Portugal, organized jointly by COALA (Clube de Orientação e Aventura do Litoral Alentejano), AEJBV (Agrupamento de Escolas José Belchior Viegas), and CDCS (Clube Desportivo e Cultural das Sarnadas). The event is part of the International Orienteering Federation (IOF) ranking and the Portuguese Orienteering Federation (FPO) Portugal Cup ranking. It welcomes participants of all ages, whether they wish to compete in formal categories or take part in open classes, individually or in groups.

The 2027 programme runs from 5 to 9 February, with an event model and training session in São Brás de Alportel, alongside middle- and long-distance races, a night sprint, an urban sprint, and PreO. Activities are scheduled across São Brás de Alportel, Faro, Almodôvar, Sarnadas, and Alte. The organizers work with local entities to deliver a high-quality event for visiting orienteering enthusiasts. Portugal “O” Meeting offers participants a chance to enjoy foot orienteering across varied locations while taking part in a prominent national competition.
