Pomorac.net is an online community forum for seafarers, built around the idea of “seafarers for seafarers.” It provides a place for maritime professionals, trainees, and others interested in life at sea to exchange information, ask questions, and share practical experience. Discussion areas cover deck and engine officers, cadets, crew schedules, passenger and commercial shipping, offshore work, yachts, and maritime employers. Members can also find job-offer discussions and information about shipboard roles, companies, contracts, and working conditions.

The forum supports professional development through sections devoted to maritime education, examinations, training materials, and experiences with maritime authorities and colleges. Other topics include seafarers’ rights, maritime law, pensions and health coverage, and advice on certification. Community areas invite introductions, suggestions, and general conversation, with dedicated spaces for hobbies, fishing, and photographs. Pomorac.net also offers member accounts, searchable discussions, recent activity, and a mobile app, helping users keep up with conversations and connect with fellow maritime workers.
