Pon Elephant Thailand is your gateway to an unforgettable experience in Chiang Mai, Northern Thailand, where ethical elephant care takes center stage. Founded by Ms. Supin Achanhan, affectionately known as Mae Pin, this sanctuary emerged from a family legacy of nurturing elephants through generations. Amidst challenges like the cessation of logging and the impacts of COVID-19, Mae Pin's commitment to the well-being of these gentle giants never wavered, leading to the establishment of Pon Elephant Thailand.
Nestled in a stunning 30-acre environment, the sanctuary offers guests the chance to interact with elephants in their natural habitat. Activities include feeding and bathing the elephants, making it educational and enjoyable for both locals and tourists. With a focus on compassionate care, Pon Elephant Thailand invites everyone to connect with these magnificent creatures. As a certified tour operator, they strive to provide the best experiences in the region, ensuring that every visit contributes to the elephants' well-being and fosters a deeper appreciation for their significance.
