Poney Club de l'Etang

Poney Club de l’Etang is an equestrian centre in Vaulnaveys-le-Bas, near Grenoble and Vizille, offering horse-riding activities for children and adults of all abilities. Its programme spans introductory experiences, leisure riding and competition, with annual lessons for riders from age three through advanced levels, including preparation for riding certificates from Poney Bronze to Galop 7. Adults can choose beginner, intermediate or confirmed classes, while younger children can enjoy “Poney Câlin” sessions and Saturday discovery lessons.

The club also provides private lessons, TREC and ethological riding sessions, and professional training pathways for aspiring equestrian activity leaders and instructors. During school holidays, riders can join themed and nature-focused camps, including options combining riding and horse care. Other offerings include guided rides and hikes, a two-hour escape ride for experienced riders aged 14 and over, pony rentals, and birthday celebrations with farm animals and ponies.

With activities designed for different ages and experience levels, the club supports both first encounters with ponies and continued development in equestrian sport
