Ponies Help Children is a Scottish charity based at Blairmains Farm in Harthill, where rescued ponies and a welcoming outdoor community help children, young people and families build confidence and connection. The charity gives ponies who have had a difficult start in life a safe home and time to regain trust. It then offers gentle sessions designed to help participants feel calmer, safer and more understood.
Visitors can meet the ponies, learn their stories and find out how the charity’s work supports children and families. Ponies Help Children also welcomes volunteers to help care for the animals and support families, and invites people to contribute through donations, fundraising, shopping or pony sponsorship. Its facilities provide spaces where ponies and families can come together. The organisation shares stories from the farm and its community through a podcast and publishes news and testimonials about its work. People can contact the charity to make a referral, explore ways to get involved or learn more about its services.
